As the world continues to envolve, the demand for expanding workspace on computers is increasing. Additionally, this 'expanded space' needs to be easily portable for setting up a work corner or, at the very least, be adaptable for use in public spaces.
This is my review of the ViewSonic VG1655 Portable Monitor. I hope this review will be helpful for anyone considering buying it. This product is now available in this link

- 1 x Mini HDMI Port

OPERATION METHOD - CONNECTION:
The monitor connects to devices via a Type-C port and draws power directly from the same Type-C port. Specifically: If you connect a Laptop, Macbook, iPad Pro, or Smartphone with a Type-C port, you only need a single cable, Type-C to Type-C, to transmit images and supply power to the portable monitor.
Note that devices like iPad Pro and smartphones may not provide enough power, so the screen will only reach 50% brightness. To increase the brightness, you need to supply power through the other Type-C port. This will also charge the connected device (iPad or smartphone).
Power can easily be supplied using the included 60W charger, a power bank, or the USB port on a PC or laptop.
When connecting via the mini HDMI port, you need to provide power through the Type-C port of the monitor.
The 3.5mm port allows you to connect headphones or speakers. This feature is very convenient when connecting devices that don't have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
DISPLAY QUALITY:
The monitor provides a decent display quality, but it is not exceptional. If you're used to high-quality screens like 4K or 2K resolutions, you may feel disappointed when viewing this screen. However, this is just initial impression, and after a few days of use, it becomes more tolerable.
Comparison with laptops of the same resolution, size, and panel:
The difference is not significant; they are pretty much the same as each other.
The monitor has good brightness and decent viewing angles. However, in terms of color accuracy and detail, it is only average. I would rate it around 7/10.
ACCESSORIES:
60W Type-C charger
Type-C to Type-C cable
Type-A to Type-C cable
HDMI to Mini HDMI cable
Protective case
SATISFIED:
The monitor is lightweight.
Equipped with multiple convenient ports.
Charging feature for connected devices.
Comes with a complete and thoughtful set of accessories.
NOT SATISFIED:
The screen quality is "acceptable".
The menu settings are not intuitive and are difficult to use.
The built-in speakers sound poor.
Finally, Should you buy it or not?
If you need a monitor to expand your workspace for regular office tasks and general use, without heavy photo editing or video editing, this monitor is a good choice.
If you need a monitor for video editing, watching movies, or photo editing, then this is not the right choice.
